We regularly decommission and remove all types of lifts for a variety of clients including, building contractors, building owners, management companies and on a sub-contract basis for other lift services companies. Our background in lift services provides us with the experience and knowledge to understand how best to survey, plan, decommission, remove and correctly dispose of redundant lift equipment safely and in an environmentally sound manner.
Over the years we have built up a broad range of experience removing lifts of varying configurations, types and ages from unoccupied and from live buildings such as schools, hospitals, Office of Public Works buildings, office blocks, factories, apartments and restaurants.
We offer a turn-key service where we plan and manage all aspects of the project including any building and electrical works that need to be carried out in conjunction with the removal of the lift equipment or we can work alongside and liaise with other contractors involved in the works being carried out during a project.
Additionally, where a lift has not passed it’s useful life span but is no longer required in a building or is required to be moved we can provide a de-installation service where the lift can be carefully dismantled, all parts are labelled, boxed and stored and the lift can be refitted in an alternative location if required.
